Temple Academy Dragway, is the oldest continually operating dragstrip in Texas. Many big name racers have made runs down this fabled track; John Force, Don Garlits, Gene Snow, Gordon Mineo and others.

Temple Academy Dragway, also known as Little River, or just The River, was first built and operated by Jerry Tomastik. This historic facility still hosts drag races on a weekly basis.
